Life Coaching

We understand that life can be full of obstacles and challenges that can make it difficult to make the changes you desire. That’s why we provide life coaching services to help you discover the best version of yourself.  As well as presenting workshops.

​

The coaching programme covers three months and involves;

​

  • Four inspiring adventures in the stunning Central Otago environment (2x overnight trips, 2 day trips).

    • The adventures can involve Rafting, Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Rock climbing, Abseiling, Skiing and Snowshoeing.

    • All gear, food and transport is provided

​​

  • Fortnightly catch ups (face 2 face or virtual)

​

  • Positive Psychology based coaching

​

  • Suggestions for appropriate adventures post course

  • Four inspiring adventures - As an experienced and fully qualified outdoor guide and Wellbeing & Resilience coach, Steve will sit with you and plan your four bespoke adventures.  With a range of outdoor qualifications including Kayak, Raft, Rock, Alpine instructor, and 35 years experience taking groups, and personal missions, in the outdoors,  Steve has the skills and experience to make the most of every environment.

  • Fortnightly catch ups - WIth regular catch up sessions between adventures Steve will support you making the steps needed in order to move towards your goals

​

  • Positive Psychology based coaching - identifying your strengths and utilizing them to address challenges in your life is the underpinning philosophy of Positive Psychology.

 

  • Recommendations for post course adventures - Steve will provide ideas for you to continue to get outdoors and connect with the wilderness. 

​ 

  • We have a comprehensive, fully audited safety system.  Steve holds pre-hospital emergency care, (PHEC) and all activity specific qualifications. 

 

Investment - $5250  includes all transport from Wanaka / Queenstown to the four bespoke adventures, all food & beverages, equipment, professional qualified guide, personal gear as necessary, fortnightly catch ups and life long memories.

Meet Steve Hodkinson

Steve is an experienced Health & Safety practitioner, Educator and Adventure Tourism Guide.  Steve's passion is helping people get the most out of life  He has a Masters Degree in Education and a Post Graduate Diploma's in Occupational Health & Safety and in Positive Psychology & Wellbeing.  As well as 25 years working in High Schools around the globe, Steve has worked as an Adventure Tourism Guide, a Health & Safety Advisor, a Special Education advisor and is now Director of Wellderness & Stevehodkinson.com.

Steve's practise is based on what he calls the 1% rules.  Making small improvements each day leads to a cumulative effect which keeps you and your business thriving.  Whether its developing a safety management system, delivering a workshops or taking people into the wildreness, Steve highlights the importance of making small changes in our lives, the 1% rule.

 

Steve believes in sharing with people practical, evidence-based tools, that can improve lives. He delivers Health, Safety & Wellbeing in a way that is both engaging and full of takeaway activities that your staff and leaders can utilise in their lives, and in your workplace.
